Spring 2020: Top Travel Destination
I’ve been searching for inspiration lately, as with everything going on, I’ve faced a bit of a creative block. It’s challenging to stay in a positive, clear and creative mindset when things are shaky and indefinitely uncertain. Anyways, enough about that. Something that kept sticking out to me and catching my attention would be travel posters, fun locations, bright colors. Maybe you’re seeing where I’m going with this? With travel plans being halted, the possibility of taking a trip this Spring taken off the table, now on hold, no one is going anywhere. As we’re well aware of, people around the world are being ordered to stay indoors, stay in their homes and limit outside excursions. Jokes are being shared about eating all of the quarantine snacks or developing sympathy for dogs and understanding their excitement for anything outside. I find inspiration in the way that even when in mandatory isolation, we can find a sense of community. We’re adapting and although things are starting to look a little differently, that doesn’t change who we are, a collective whole in this together, traveling (hey, walking IS a form of traveling, isn’t it?) to the fridge, couch and other places around the house, day after day.
